The Arkansas Bioinformatics Consortium (AR-BIC) is an Arkansas-centric community that facilitates communication and collaboration to leverage Arkansas expertise and resources in data sciences and bioinformatics. Established in 2014, AR-BIC began to fulfill this mission by hosting annual conferences. The themes of the meetings explored bioinformatics applications in precision medicine, agriculture, data sciences, and artificial intelligence (AI).

The upcoming seventh annual in-person conference will focus on Artificial Intelligence in Arkansas (AI-in-AR). The one and half day conference is scheduled to be held at Wyndham Riverfront Little Rock, September 15-16, 2021, COVID permitting.
